More Matter Jamie is a blog about all things entertainment. Featuring showbiz stories, book and movie reviews, to lifestyle posts on men’s fashion, as well as my own ramblings, I try to update the blog as often as I can.
I am currently trudging through anonymity with unyielding antipathy and this site is a manifestation of my interest in (and possibly, my submission to) popular culture. I study English at Trinity College, Dublin and I created More Matter Jamie because it allows me to combine my love of writing with my passion for ‘all things entertainment’.
As an English student, I have a predilection for creating stories and appreciate the craft of writing and this blog started out as a way to help Leaving Certificate students in Ireland improve their English grades. I began posting essays on everything from Hamlet to answering on comprehensions and the site suddenly became popular among Irish exam students.
Slowly, but surely, I’ve began making More Matter Jamie more ‘lifestyle orientated’, with a focus on showbiz news and arts and entertainment posts. In a sense, this blog is really just a self-indulgent step in the direction towards getting my own E! True Hollywood Story.
